About
AW60 began with the ambition to transform ordinary industrial elements into a precise language of form. Aluminium defines the primary production of AW60 and the T-section defines its formal system. Ordinary elements are joined in the most rational way. At AW60, we believe that good form arises from complex composition and clear logic.
We aim to achieve utilitarian abstraction, where the material’s inherent forms enable maximum versatility. Our process relies on standardized components and conventional manufacturing techniques, creating objects designed for everyday use. All elements are reversibly dry-assembled. Each object uses as much material as necessary and as little as possible.
AW60 works exclusively with raw materials, without surface treatments, allowing the inherent character of each material to remain fully visible. This commitment to natural qualities defines the identity of our work, resulting in a collection of distinctive, individual objects.
The studio is also open to bespoke commissions.
